2015 - My Review

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I can't believe how quickly 2015 has flown in and that we're a week into 2016 already! I thought I would do a slightly different type of post today - a sort of collection of my most substantial moments of the last year if you like. Generally speaking I've had an amazing year, with the exception of the loss of my baby guinea pig Penny, so I thought it would be nice to showcase my year for those interested.

*The photos in this post have not been taken specifically by me for a blog post, but are photos myself or my family/friends have taken throughout the year.*

Overnight & dinner in Glasgow for our Anniversary.

Our summer holiday to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Goodness, I'm ready for my next one.

I got a new car - my wee Mini One in Ice Blue. I've always wanted a Mini so it's nice to be able to have one as my second ever car. Such a nice drive!

I left my job of 3 and a half years where I met some friends for life and more importantly, the love of my life - Jonathan.

Meet Snood and Penny, my two baby guinea pigs. Snood is the more timid when it comes to people, but is the more dominant of the two piggies. Penny, although tends to just let Snood do what she wants, will be up at the bars wondering what's going on.

There was like one day of roasting sunshine in Scotland this summer. I spent it with my favourite people in Glasgow, having burgers & beers at Bar West.

Two glorious, excitable days spent in Alton Towers. Can a person have too much fun on rollercoasters?

We redecorated the main bathroom in our rented flat.  First time I had painted a wall, and I think we did a  pretty good job. It's definitely a lot more warm and  inviting now for a lovely bubble bath of an evening.

Halloween was spent at a family house party. After wearing red demon contact lenses, I now have the upmost respect for people who wear contact lenses on a daily basis. Nightmare!

On Friday 11th of December at around 9.45am, we lost our guinea pig Penny. She was still a baby and sadly suffered a chest infection (which piggies can't recover from easily like us humans). I miss her cheeky face a lot, but at least she is in no more pain. On the plus side, Snood loves having the cage to herself - she is as happy and chirpy as ever!

Had an amazing Christmas this year, spent with all my favourite people. A very relaxing and happy time.

I wish everyone a fabulous 2016, whatever the year holds for you. Thank you for your support so far with my blogging adventure and I look forward to bringing you lots more content and stories for your enjoyment this year. If there is anything in particular you would like to see from me, please let me know in the comments.
