Advent Calendar - feelunique.com

Over the past few years, beauty advent calendars have been growing in popularity each festive season and there are now a vast array to choose from, if you decide you would like one. If I had the money to buy each and every one of them I would, but like many I do not.

I know I can't be the only one who loves to see what products were in the different beauty advent calendars each year, right? This year (after A LOT of browsing) I decided to treat myself to the feelunique 12 Days of Unique Beauty calendar.

I must admit, I thoroughly enjoyed it even though there were only 12 doors to open (as opposed to 24 like some of the other calendars on offer). There are a few different ways you could tackle this "12 door" issue. Opening a door a day for the first 12 days of December to start feeling festive or waiting until the last 12 days before Christmas are a couple. Personally, I decided to open a door every second day beginning on the 2nd of December so that I had a wee treat on Christmas Eve!

I must say, I was very impressed with the products that feelunique had put in the calendar. It contained lots of goodies from brands including Philip Kingsley, This Works, Grown Alchemist and Nuxe. A nice surprise was the eyeshadow quad from Youtuber and Blogger Fleur De Force's beauty range, which I have already used over the festive season. It will be nice to have these wee luxurious beauty treats to help my poor hair and skin through the rest of winter.

Personally, my favourite product has to be the Nuxe Paris Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm.
This stuff is amazing! It's the first Nuxe product I've used and I've fallen for it already. I tend to suffer from really dry lips (especially in the winter) and previously the only thing that has helped me was Vaseline. This lip balm is so nourishing that it feels heavenly to put on my lips. It has honey and essential oils in it, but it doesn't smell strongly on honey - it's more like a sweet honey scent - but is a very nice scent. I've found a new favourite lip balm for sure.

All in all, I'm glad I went for the feelunique calendar this year as it's opened my eyes to some amazing new brands and it was lovely to get some beauty treats in the run up to Christmas. A very good beauty advent calendar for only £30 - Well done feelunique.
